I don't really have much to say.
This week I went back to hornby to get my guitar.
I accidentally forgot it there...
Anyways, I really missed hornby when I came back home. But going back showed me that I wasn't really missing all that much. I mean, it was still great, but I have a life back home, and hornby isn't going anywhere.
So that's that.
I was with my aunt and uncle there. It was nice to actually talk to my uncle, because I've never really known him. But, in our family, we're all pretty similar, "cut from the same artistic dysfunctional cloth" says mom. So, before the week was even half over I felt like I knew him through and through.
But that's life... crazy.
I also realized that love is my stock response to a question. If someone asks me something, but I'm not listening, I'll pick up one word (x) and say "X? I LOVE x." Or if something happens. I say "I love you." to make it all better.
Love is the power of the universe or something.
Anyways. Today I had to get up a 7 o clock to catch all my ferries and jazz. The sun was just arising! It was pretty in a "I'm tired and I want to go back to bed" sort of way.
Then I hitched a ride between ferries with two bible study teachers.
It was kind of awkward.
Not that I have anything against christianity. They were old too.
Yeah. But can you imagine! From 7, I got home around 3, thats a lot of waiting right there. 8 hours! But it wasn't terrible. I slept a bit on the ferry to the mainland.
And on the bus I saw a sign that said "WORSHIP... and ALL THAT JAZZ: Jazz Vespers, every thursday!" That really put a smile on the ol' face.
Anyways, looking forward to moving forward in the world. I'll see you all later...
